Pest Control Technicians
Number of vacancies: Sorry none at present
Qualifications: Technicians should be qualified to Pest Control NVQ, British Pest Control Association Operators Certificate, Rentokil Trained Technician, Army Trained or possess an equivalent training certificate from another country. There is a lot of report writing involved and a good standard of written English is looked for.
We usually train from scratch at our Wimbledon Office.
Other requirements: A thorough knowledge of London is needed and applicants should have several years experience of driving through it.
Salary: £12 - 18000 + overtime and discretionary bonus.
Benefits: Fully equipped van, refresher training, biologist support.
Bird Control Technicians
Number of vacancies: None at present.
Qualifications: We use our own systems of netting and wiring and always train from scratch. Most of our technicians are trained to an aerial platform operators certificate, trackside safety certificate and road signage lighting and guarding supervisors certificate in addition to bird control skills There is a lot of initiative involved and a good level of hand and tool skills is looked for. Applicants should have a good head for heights and some knowledge of the building industry.

Tree Surgeons/Arborists/Climbers/Groundsman
Number of vacancies: None at present
Qualifications: CS30, 31, 38 & 39 plus 2 Years experience
Full Driving license with a maximum of 3 points. Working across London but based in SW19.
Salary: £19000 also participation in group-wide discretionary bonus scheme.

Biologists Ecologists & Zoologists
Number of vacancies: None at present
Qualifications: We recruit two or three graduate Biologists & Zoologists every year. They are employed in our research projects or in the supervision and management of our Pest Control services.
They are encouraged to undertake further management training and many do the Diploma in Management Studies at Kingston University. Other shorter courses include Health & Safety, First Aid, Supervision, Marketing etc.
This is a strictly hands-on job and they are expected to get involved at the sharp end of the business or research. This might include monitoring for rats in sewers or looking for cockroach infestations in a client's kitchen in the middle of the night!
Other requirements: Honours Degree in relevant subject. Hand written letter of application must accompany CV.
Salary: £16 - 27,000 + commission +discretionary bonus. Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience & reviewed after 6 months.

Sales
